Food and drink: The following food and drink outlets are available before security: Costa Coffee, Weatherspoon pub, La Brioche Doree, Burger King, Franklins of Boston and Village Grill.
After security: Costa Coffee, Weatherspoon pub.

New food development - coming soon
A variety of exciting new places to eat and drink will soon be available before security at Edinburgh Airport.

Shopping - before security: Jenners, Boots, Thorntons, Naturally Cashmere, Tie Rack, Rolling Luggage, Impulse, Books etc, Accessorize, World News.
After Security: World Duty Free, Dixons, Nailport, National Shoe Shine, World of Shopping, Rolling Luggage, World News, ART at the airport.

Other facilities:  International Currency Exchange (change money before security), Prayer Room, Shoeshine, cash machines, baby changing facilities, children's play areas, public telephones (cash and credit card).

Check-in: The check-in area is on the ground floor of the terminal building. All flight numbers and destinations are displayed on the monitors at the entrance to the terminal, indicating which desk to check in at. Self service check-in (online and kiosk) is available to some passengers departing from Edinburgh and can be a great way to save time on your journey through the airport.

Wireless Internet Access: You can enjoy the freedom of wire-free high-speed internet access throughout the airport. T-Mobile, BT Openzone and The Cloud Networks provide broadband wireless service so you can stay online while on the move.

Lounges: Passengers wanting to avoid the crowds can pre-book the Servisair executive lounge. In this tranquil retreat you can work or relax with complimentary drinks and snacks. The Servisair executive lounge is available for a small fee to all passengers, not just first and business class, and is situated in the departures area of the airport on the first floor.

British Airways first and business class passengers can use the BA executive lounge; and bmi silver and gold diamond club members (flying with bmi or bmibaby) can use the bmi diamond club lounge. Both of these are also found after security control on the first floor.

Car rental
Car Rental desks are situated in the UK Arrivals Hall: Avis, Budget, Europcar, Hertz, National/Alamo (Offsite rentals with Sixt, Arnold Clark, etc. are available via courtesy phone). Enterprise and Thrifty operate a desk at Quality Hotel, which is served by a shuttle bus. Pre-book great UK and worldwide Car Hire  deals with Expedia.

Hotels
Hilton have a branch less than 500m from the terminal building. There is a Quality Hotel about 1.5 km from the terminal at Ingliston. The Norton House Hotel and Marriott at Maybury are the next nearest. All of these hotels (and others) are bookable at the hotel desk in the UK arrivals hall, and all offer a shuttle bus service. Lastminute.com also have a hotel reservations desk at international arrivals.
